12 Pop, Chart & R&B Songs For Pole Dancing Routines

Let’s get started with…

1. Rihanna – Russian Roulette

We’re starting this list with Rihanna, and not the obvious ‘Pour It Up’. This song features a slow beat, intense chorus and the intro has a beautiful, atmospheric guitar riff.

2. Beyoncé – If I Were A Boy

This was one of the first songs I performed a routine to, years ago when I was a beginner; I had just learned to ‘Gemini’ and that was the ‘big move’ of the routine. Hah! How things have changed…

3. Sia – Chandelier

Just… incredible.

4. Hozier – Take Me To Church

A very emotional song to get into and show your vulnerable side.

5. Christine and the Queens – Tilted

Wow – you can create some amazing and unique routines with this tune from French band Christine & The Queens!

6. Eminem – Love The Way You Lie (ft. Rihanna)

Another song with a beautiful melody that will allow you to show your vulnerable side in a pole dancing routine.

7. Katy Perry – E.T.

You’re so hypnotizing…  Mesmerize your audience with a routine to Katy Perry’s hypnotic pop ballad.

8. Florence & The Machine – Shake It Out

Or, you know, any song by Florence & The Machine would do…!

9. Flo Rida – Low

You can certainly have a lot of fun creating a routine to this!

10. En Vogue – Don’t Let Go

There’ll be some love-makin’, heartbreakin’, soul-shakin... An absolute classic from the 90s, and perfect for pole dancing! The chorus of this song would be a great time to *ahem* let go…

11. Duffy – Mercy

A unique song, with a lot of chance for creative choreography.

12. Rihanna ft. Drake – Work
